有了母亲节，于是就有了父亲节。用庆祝节日的热烈方式来表达子女对父母养育之恩的感谢，说起来满合理，但总觉得有些奇怪。
到了这一天，起码得往家里打个电话，即便平日里对他们电话骚扰不断，但如果这一天忘记了，心里会愧疚。那么其余364天该怎么做？一想到这一点，就觉得这样的节日有点做作，是我个人的看法。也有人可能认为我的想法比较做作——你平时都没有陪在父辈身边帮忙照顾，最需要你的时候你却不在，现在说这种话有意义吗？——以前有位朋友就用类似的语气教训过我。说像我这样的女儿再多养几个也是白养的。当时听了很不是滋味，觉得自己完全失败。之后自问，对于父母我算不算一个自私的孩子？放到传统中国人的家庭观念里来看，可能是的——既不同父母一道生活照顾他们，又不如他们所期望的在该做什么事的时候去做什么。但我也没有在不该做什么的时候去做什么教他们不安的事情，可这不能算是尽孝道吧。最后，看起来，似乎，最能够做到的就是不断地从经济上来给予他们支持，以弥补不能尽到的责任，可悲却现实。当然一个人如果能够做到面面俱到的话，就是许巍唱的完美生活，和谐社会，是我们毕生的奋斗目标！！幸运的是之前我有一对好父母，之后我有一位好爸爸。

今天和老爸通话，听他提起在报章上看到的一则消息，说有一家人的子女，将过往10多年间花费在老母看病求医上的开销记了一笔帐共计10万元，老母后来过世，目前子女计划向老父讨回这10万元。我想用“骇人听闻”来形容这条新闻再贴切不过。或许某些人觉得我大惊小怪，亲兄弟还明算账不是？这位老父大可以牙还牙，学习其子女totally从经济学的角度出发解决问题，将子女们小到大在父母那里用去的开销算一笔帐。这样的话，恐怕要开出一张超级长的账单，但相信回报决不低于10万元。据说香港一个普通家庭，养育一个孩子至成年自立——估计是到高中毕业的年纪，因念大学可以向政府贷款缴学费亦可打暑期工赚零用钱——约花费180万元港币的成本，可供那位老父参考。但这将可能成为又一条“骇人听闻”的新闻。

另，今日在书店偶然翻看一本介绍港大校园的书，才知道我一直误读了港大一角的一对木刻文，“喜拾慈悲”正确的应是“喜舍”和“慈悲”。一“舍”，一“拾”，意境完全不同啊。不过，这一偶然的纠正，到是给我一点“喜拾”的开心:)

Direct rail service from Paisley Gilmour Street to Glasgow Central Eight trains per hour (Monday-Saturday) and five per hour (Sunday). Paisley's Gilmour Street railway station is the nearest to the airport. Just one mile from the terminal, it can be reached by taxi or by regular bus services from bus stop bay 1 – located just outside the terminal building.
